About the Film:
Sergio, an aspiring writer, chooses to stay alone in Cuba to observe the threat of foreign invasion while his wife, family and friends move to the U.S to escape the political turmoil in the country. He begins to see the effects of living in an underdeveloped country while he watches supplies diminish. Alone and unemployed, Sergio begins to chase women all over the city. He finds himself recalling past experiences and reflects on his life. Directed by Tomas Gutierrez Alea.
